The fourth annual River Spirit Golf Club Charity Golf Classic benefiting Calgary Counselling Centre will be held at the prestigious River Spirit Golf Club on Monday, August 30, 2010.

About the tournament:
The River Spirit Golf Club Charity Golf Classic benefiting Calgary Counselling Centre is hosted at the beautiful River Spirit Golf Club. Nestled on the edge of the Rocky Mountains, the Elbow River and Millburn Creek provide a breathtaking backdrop to many of River Spirit’s ‘signature’ holes.

Every year at the tournament participants learn about Calgary Counselling Centre programming. Throughout the event, there are activities and trivia on the course educating golfers about the Centre’s approach to helping people with their mental health. This year’s educational focus for the on-course activities will feature the Centre’s depression program – one of the Centre’s most requested services.

The proceeds from our event will go to Calgary Counselling Centre’s Post Graduate Student Bursaries. The Centre trains Post Graduate counselling students to be accredited in their field. Investing in today’s students ensures a next generation of expert practitioners. The skills they acquire at Calgary Counselling Centre advance mental health in our community.
