Partnership runs deep between River Spirit Golf Club and Calgary Counselling Centre

While past participants of Calgary Counselling Centre’s annual charity golf classic may be familiar with the name River Spirit, it’s the new name for CCC’s annual tournament.

Now called the River Spirit Golf Club Charity Golf Classic benefitting Calgary Counselling Centre, CCC has solidified its relationship with the local golf club by committing to a three year partnership. This visionary pairing allows for both organizations to continue their commitment to be proactive in educating the public about emotional, social and mental health issues and raise funds for counselling programs that directly improve the lives of families and children in the Calgary community.

This year’s golf tournament will raise funds for the Centre’s Children of Divorce group therapy program. Through this program, parents and children embark on a journey through the difficult process of separation or divorce. The goal is to create healthy relationships within the family throughout their journey.

On June 4th, participants will go on their own journey to better understand CCC’s work with families while enjoying 18 holes at River Spirit Golf Club’s beautiful course. To register for the tournament click here or call 403-691-5904.
