It all adds up - great gifts come in small packages

In a city where corporations and foundations are more often recognized for big budget donations, smaller donations just don’t seem to get press.

CCC relies on individual donors, small businesses and special event attendees to make a big impact. These donations add up at CCC – representing 17 per cent of our bottom line.

We truly appreciate the many donors that make a difference here at CCC through their financial gifts. In 2009, 80 per cent of our clients required subsidization in the fee for our services. The many donations we received in 2009 helped our clients access services.

Even the smallest monthly, annual and special occasion donations help the Centre deliver the individual, couple and family counselling programs so many Calgarians seek. It takes a mix of individuals, foundations, government, small businesses and corporations to provide the necessary funding to enable CCC to meet ever increasing demand for counselling.

In planning your donation, consider a general gift to the Centre that can help provide fee subsidies for 80 per cent of our clients, or direct your contribution to one of our specific programs in need:

• Post-Graduate student bursaries
• Depression
• Children of Divorce (Children’s Programs)
