CCC is full of fire and gettin' rowdy this Stampede

Calgary Counselling Centre (CCC) is looking forward to two exclusive Stampede parties.This year CCC is thrilled Firewater Friday and First Rowdy have chosen us as a recipient charity at their events.

“Firewater Friday,” a corporate Stampede event put on by Peters & Co, benefits one select charity to be the recipient of all funds raised. This year, their executive team picked CCC and funds will go to our Children’s programs. Over the past eight years, the event has been a significant fundraiser for the chosen local charity.

“This is an exciting opportunity for CCC,” says Linna Morgan, Director of Fund Development, who stewarded the sponsorship. “The event itself will bring profile to CCC and the funds raised will make a significant contribution to help families in need.”

Just a few days later, in exchange for a terrific time, FirstEnergy encourages their guests to donate at the “First Rowdy” event. In the past 15 years, First Rowdy has raised over 2 million dollars for charities around Calgary. FirstEnergy has been a long time supporter of CCC and this is our second time as a First Rowdy recipient. Yee haw!
