routinely record and extrapolate a variety of Statistical Numbers About People. We refer endearingly to this detailed process as SNAP. It’s so important - we use it as a verb and as a noun.

When a revision of SNAP was being considered, we didn’t want to have the job go to just anyone. Enter the great minds of Urban Lighthouse.

“Urban Lighthouse (UL) specializes in all things “web” and is our partner for all database and web based applications,” says Neil Wagner, our volunteer CIO. “When we have questions regarding our existing version of SNAP, they provide support to help extract information. They will also be building our next version of SNAP from the ground up.”

We’re certain you’ve seen their work. From the Calgary Herald Charitable Foundation, to the Alberta Government Elections website, they’re routinely solving problems with web-based solutions.

"We chose UL because they are 'old for their age'”, says Neil. “They are a group that is very young, yet highly experienced and show the combination of creativity and technical excellence that makes them a hugely valuable partner. Just as Calgary Counselling Centre is very nimble and highly strategically focused, so too is UL. And so far, the work AND advice they have provided to us has been invaluable."

Whether it's basic website design and implementation or custom web application such as asset management, content management, e-commerce or anything in-between, Urban Lighthouse has the expertise to turn plans into a reality. We’re happy to have their experience improve SNAP for us at the Centre.
