Try the new Marriage Preparation Workshop at a deep discount

Calgary Counselling Centre (CCC) is excited to announce the launch our new Marriage Preparation Workshop - "Prepare to Last" this summer.  With the summer wedding season fast approaching, couples are getting excited about their trip down the aisle. Just like a wedding rehearsal, we’re inviting you to our dress rehearsal of the new content: on June 24 & 25, 2011, for the low cost of $160 per couple.

The workshop helps couples to better understand each other’s views on important issues and gives them the tools to work through all the stages of their marriage.

We’ll take you on a full exploration of your relationship, with great conversations for you and your partner:

• Marriage Expectations,
• Communication,
• Conflict Resolution,
• Personality differences,
• Financial Management,
• Sex and Intimacy
• and finally, Goals and Dreams.

The 10 hour weekend workshops bring together up to 20 couples with two trained facilitators.

“We have exciting new content to share with couples who are nearly wed, or newly married,” says Tina Nikolaou, Program Lead for Marriage Preparation. “What I love most about the content is the materials couples take home, to continue the great conversations they start in the workshop. There is a couples checkup, the workbooks have fantastic additional material and there are CDs couples can use on date nights to strengthen their relationship on their own time.”

Marriage Preparation is the longest running workshop at Calgary Counselling Centre, with its roots dating back to 1963. For 48 years we’ve been helping couples build skills to maintain a healthy marriage. This workshop has been the cornerstone of the CCC since its inception in 1962. In the past three years alone, our workshop has helped over 250 couples to build a stronger foundation for their relationship.

The new Marriage Preparation Workshop will begin this summer.  When it launches, it will cost $299 per couple.
