At Calgary Counselling Centre we call our practicum placements internships. They provide psychology and social work graduate students the opportunity to gain knowledge and comprehensive counselling experience within a community-based counselling agency. Interns are assigned to a supervisor who will work with them over the course of eight months. Interns receive one hour of individual supervision and two hours of group supervision each week. Interns are invited to participate in all training and workshops at Calgary Counselling Centre during their Internship.
